These are so cute! And easy to make!

I didn't make these, but I am planning on doing so....I have several old pair of flats that are screaming for some kind of make over. They are still in good shape, just out of style or have scuff marks on, and this project is perfect for fixing them right up for winter!

I forgot about this blog

I forgot about having this blog..it's amazing at how my mind is so forgetful lately.

Well tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I sort of have a menu planned out. I have been working on a recipe/cook book for a couple of weeks now. I am printing out recipes that I have made over the years, and some that I have been wanting to try. It's all on pretty paper, and in a 3 ring binder. I figured one of my kids may want it one day, and it's so easy to add too.

Yesterday my son had his class play, it was so cute! I finally managed to get something on video that was actually viewable. I have 2 camcorders, and they both have issues. They aren't digital, so I borrowed one, and I really need to upgrade to a digital one!

Since August things have been so crazy for me, and they didn't turn out well! So I am kind of numb now. Just in awe at how life is turning out for me, not exactly what I had planned. I will get my grove back one day, but right now, I am not making any future plans, and I am just going to live day to day for now. I have lost all ambition! I honestly don't care anymore.

Life is happening today!

LOL. Well at 7am tomorrow morning I will be having back surgery. Fun...I know this certain procedure won't work, it didn't work when I had it done 3 times about 5 years ago! But I am seeing a new surgeon, and now I have to jump through their hoops!

My kids started back to school today after being out for spring break. We weren't able to do much for spring break, but being a single mom not working, it kind of sucks on the finances. I just pray that I am able to get my back working again so I can go back to work!

I lost 16 pounds in the last 4 weeks(as I type this I am eating a pint of Homemade Vanilla Blue bell) LOL..hey I was good, I had a healthy dinner! I made steamed tilapia, steamed veggies and brown rice!

I sewed yesterday, I made an Easter table cloth and matching curtains. It turned out sooo cute! At least I think so. I was trying to use up some
of my fabric stash! I really need to start
using it and quit hoarding fabric! It's getting
ridiculous!
